resignation due to pregnancy
I am 2 months pregnant and have difficulty in my pregnancy -losing weight plus the upper respiratory infections due to excessive vomiting.
I already filed a two week notice resignation for my employer on December 13 and got and trained my replacement but he did not want. He still ask me to come to office.
I have several contractions and needs full bed rest but the hospital does not give medical certificate for more than two days unless i have bleeding so I decided just to stay home.
Now the problem is they still keep on asking me to come to office and finish my contract until January 10, 2013.
Do they have this hold considering my medical condition and pregnancy?
Also, they did not give my salary for November and until my last day of resignation effectivity on December 13.
I swear, for the past two weeks, 1-13 of December, he always shouts without any reason that made more contractions which is affecting my pregnancy. My replacement's business visa will expire on 30 December but still they did not give offer letter and they also don't want to pay him his due salary...
My husband works in the government and my kids are under his sponsorship. We are asking for NOC but they do not want to listen. Please help.
as far as i know and what i heared from my friends if the woman is married and her husband has the capacity to sponsored her, then his husband can sponsored her even without NOC from her company.
Tahsinmim, there is no ban of 2 years for Family Residence Visa.
tahsin, They did not ask her to leave but she decided to quit due to health issues. If the contract is not renewed then they will cancel her visa and she should leave the country as they are not willing to give NOC for transferring her visa to her husband. She has already submitted her sesignation and they are not ready to give her NOC so she has no options other than leaving the country. Her husband can apply for a Residence Visa.
tahsinmim, OP clearly mentioned that the Company is not giving NOC. If she is husband sponsored what NOC is required and she can leave them any time.
I am really sorry to hear of this, pregnay/labor law in the gulf r horrible , u have to work until the last day and then u have 40 days leave only . ur story however is not the first i hear, but u definetly do have the right to resign , my best advice to u is to try and get a lawyer . Good luck !
