Dear Friends,
I am an expatriate living in Qatar for the past 7 years and at present facing a very hard time in my life (for the past 3 & ½ years) without a job.
I would like to seek the expertise advice as a help to restore my life again. I mention below my problem & present situation briefly.
“I was working in the government sector (QP Subsidiary) for about 2 & ½ years, got fed up with the job and intended to shift my job to the Banking. With that intention I did a mistake to get terminated from the company by violating the Company Disciplinary Guide by doing a mistake (amending photo copy of my Salary Certificate). But It went upto the courts & they gave a judgment of 1 year suspended term & subsequent deportation. I was in the deportation jail for 9 months, since the authorities cannot deport me due to my bank loan issue. Present position is my Resident Permit is cancelled and I have tried in all venues to restore my RP through Embassy, Human Rights and Ministry of Interior. But they wash their hands without giving any reason. So I hope I can find some one from this forum to get some expertise legal advice.”

Assalamu Alaikum !!!

Yesterday I went to CID to check the possibility to sort out my problem.

Their advice is to go back to Deportation Centre / jail and inform them that u can do any thing. specially to support my living so let them to handle. Be inside the jail for no reason they neam. Further the cancellation of Deportation order is only can done by the H.H the Emir.

I real dont know what to do & I am real confused.

Suffering in Qatar: Not IF you are a fraudster, you ARE a fraudster, you said it yourself: "(amending photo copy of my Salary Certificate)".

I have recently experienced unfair treatment by QP. For 9 years, I thought they were the employer of choice. Now I know just how poorly people are treated in this country and how fickle other expatriates can be. Now I know why it's so hot here ........ training for them all to go to hell.

You committed a crime, you paid the penalty and now they want you to beg like a dog. Stand up for yourself and find casual work so that you can pay off your debt. I wish you good luck.

I know Suffering_in_Qatar you did make mistake and they already punish you by putting you in jail. I know, as I wrote many injustice happening here in Qatar to foreigners. Law is one sided here... can I ask those people who blindly support one way Qatar government (slavery rule) that how many times government has punish companies or contractors who has misuse their workers, not paid salaries? Why no news is published by media for the exploitation (rape, beating, torture ) of foreign maid in Qatar closed walls... come and see in some of the poorest embassies here in Qatar.... they you tell me who is just and who is unjust....

You cannot judge the book by its cover!

This is not a time to joke. If I am a fraudster I have so many ways to escape. I did a mistake seeing only one side of the fact. For my ignorance I am suffering for the past 3 1/2 years. So I humbly request you to not to insult any 1 in a real need of a help. If you cant just leave it. There are 100 people to help with good heart & understanding.

Any way Thanks for your great comment.

Allah Hafiz

I love when people find excuses for committing crimes. My friend, what you did is called fraud! Why would anyone (apart from a lawyer who'll be paid for it) try to help a fraudster when they could use their time and resources to help someone honest? Hmmmm.
