good day all..

I would like to get assistance on below

Recently I renewed my passport.

I'm planning to travel to India on 1 July.

Can I travel with new passport attaching the old one in which Iqama RP is sticking? Or needed immediately to transfer RP?

My RP Validity is 18 October 2015.

Appreciate your prompt help

Dear Sir,

You can travel back to Qatar by showing both the passport but it is safe to get new Qatar id. as it just few minutes job at any immigration centre and fees is only Qr. 200.

I was in the same situation. I've done it through hukoomi and now my passport number is changed in the system. Then I went to mesaimeer service center to transfer the RP to the new passport. After checking online, they said no need to do anything. It's already changed on the system. They have not even changed my id to the new system.

You can have the RP transferred to the new passport at any immigration and passport office within 30 minutes on payment of the required fee which must be through ATM. If you have the time available, suggest you get it done.
