RP / VISA -- could you please help me??

Hi I'm working as an engineer here in Qatar. And I just plan to move to Dubai for good. But I've got my Qatar RP renewed a month ago. Now it seems to be next to impossible to get a valid RP / work VISA till my Qatar VISA gets cancelled ( i mean this is what ma frenz tell or rather anticipate). Is it true? Do I really need to cancel it? Will I get a GCC ban if I just breach the contract here and run away hoping that I'd get a better opportunity somewhere else in the Middle East? (I'd like to hear an answer other than "Jzz cancel your RP and go") Thanks in advance :0)

You can takeup employment in Dubai without cancelling your qatar rp. However u will have to pay a fine in dubai something like 5000 aed.

Also you may get a ban in qatar. There is nothing like a GCC ban

and all your papers start to be done they will realize about your qatar RP, then they will cancel it immediately since you are not allowed to hold two valid GCC RP.

Now make up your mind and take a decision.

Oh by the way is the company you are working for here in Qatar going to provide you with a NOC, because if you don't get it then you will be banned from re-entry Qatar for 2 years.

Simple and plain

Yes, it's a problem. You can't hold two valid GCC RPs at one time.
