Hi all.

Pls help with some info.. I got a work visa (two years) in a day after I sign an offer letter.

1.Once we are in QATAR on workvisa,, when we apply for RP what are the required documents to be submitted. am asked do the NOtary attestation too.

Heard the educatiuonal certificates should be attested by QATAR embassy in India OR Indian embassy at Doha for family residence permit!!!

1....Is this on original or copy, or both is ok??.

2.....Once attested by QATAR embassy at India, does it rquire indian embassy attestation in DOha again???

I am asked to have the certificates attested by a NOtary from india when I land..

this is for applying RP?? what else are the requirements /formalities except medical and finger print??

How long will itl take?

Once attested back in Indian by qatar embassy and braught..Do we need to again attest from indian embassy in Doha for family RP ,,OR straight we can go for the Qatar ministry attestation?????

Dear Sunil,

There is need of Resident Permit after you enter Qatar on work visa.For getting RP,you have to go for Medical Test and Finger printing.Without RP,you can not get Driving License,Bank Account etc.RP is must.Without RP,you can not even bring your family. For getting your family RP,you need to have your testimonials,original birth certificates,marriage certificates,6 months bank account statement etc.

No RP ??? you mean no need of resident permit to be obtained after entry on a work visa??
