A sponsor cannot be transferred. A residence visa can be transferred. Since you don't have one, ask your sponsor to cancel your work visa (for entry to Qatar), leave Qatar for a day and come back under the NEW sponsor.
@awanexpo, the simple way out will be to get a return ticket in budget airline, exit the country and re-enter on the new visa. Then you can complete the RP formalities. It also depends on what sponsorship you are in, so confirm before you make a move. :-)
