My husband and I have separate sponsorship. I'm on family he's on bachelor. As far as I'm aware there is no law that states that the husband MUST sponsor the wife. As long as she is sponsored then it is OK. I have just had a baby and the 'charming' staff at the NHA won't give me a birth certificate as my husband isn't my sponsor. Have any other members experienced the same problem and how did you deal with it???

nothing like that..even my husband n me in diff sponsorship..n v had a baby in july n they gave us birth certificate bt v had to collect it frm search n follow up dept in sannaya..v had to submit our passport copies..bt ur husband will be the sponsor of ur baby n u cannot sponsor the baby...
