hi all,

once your residency is stamped how log can you stay out of the country?

i am on my husband sponsorship, and i am currently out of qatar, how long i can stay before they cancel my residency?

Ur husband has to apply extension after 6 months but b4 expiration of ur visa at police immigration in airport stating the reason let say, medical certificate as if you were teated in ur country or borne a child, for example.

6 months is correct, but to be on the safe side, don't let it reach the maximum duration. try to come back max 1 week before expiry.

It is certainly 6 months no second thoughts on that. However, it could be extended for another 6 months if required, but that needs to be done within the first 6 months period of staying out of country.

Hi there,

As far as I know there are 6 months out of country allowed.But check the page with visa stamped in your passport,down is wrote the time, I think.
