I would like to ask questions whoever reading this to please share me your knowledge regarding the change of visas.
I am currently on a tourist visa sponsored by the hotel.
Now, my son wanted me change visa from tourist to his sponsorship , family visit visa ? Is this possible ? Do I need to exit Qatar ?

Second question , just in case he will apply for me a Residence visa , can they combine his salary and his wife salary so they can reach the minimum of QR 10,000 ?

My son basic salary is Qr 6,000 plus OT and his wife basic salary is QR 7,000 plus OT .

My daughter in law is due to give birth next month and I want to be with them in this special occasion.

Thank you for sharing !

Ms Krystina

I would really like to get more info regarding changing from tourist visa to visit visa.... what documentation did you need? Did you have to get a NOC from the travel agent?

Hello! Just for our information. I went today to the Immigration and talked direct to the Captain. He said no need for me to exit Qatar and apply the family visit visa before the tourist visa expired and pay the amount of QR 500.

You have to exit then come in on a family visit visa. You can not have 2 visas at the same time with the same passport number.
