Pls help...
My wife and I are working here under company sponsorship. Is it possible for her to transfer the sponsorship to me without leaving Qatar? She was hired here in Qatar. Does she need NOC from her company? Thank you!
1.) If her visa is under the company, she has to get an NOC.
- Go to Labor Office in C-Ring road and get a transfer form
-Have the form typed in Arabic (a lot of typist and translators in Najma). The form has all the requirements for transferring at the back.
(if I am not mistaken:
a.) noc from your company for you to sponsor her
b.) noc from her company
c.) both passport copies
d.) both your rp's
e.) salary certificate for the last 6 months
f.) educational certificate & Marriage Certificate authenticated by DFA in manila and Phil Embassy here (QAR100) and stamped by MOFA (QAR60.)
g.) Salary certificate (I heard now it's supposed to be QAR8000 above) just check again
-once accepted, they will giveyou a receipt and you may go back after 3 days for the result.
-if approved, you need to proceed to immigration gate #3 and bring the receipt that labor will give you.
-they will give you a new receipt and wait again for 3 days max. you may check the results online at www.moi.gov.qa
-once approved, you have to go back to gate 1 and secure new RP and have her passport stanped again. I payed (QAR1,600) last year for the transfer...
It will really take a long time for the process! so good luck!
Prior to the NOC I got from Qatar Airways, the Qatar Airways immigration had to process some documents for labor office. I am not quite sure if her company requires the same.
2.) It is not advisable for her to go home becuase here in Qatar, the visa approval is changing everyday. SOmetimes, they approve return after 6 months, at times, 2 years. No one can really tell so just do not take the risk.
Yes it's possible if your wife could get NOC from her her present employer...She needs to fill the transfer form(i guess)and your salary should be above QR 7000 to sponsor her...You need to attest the marriage certificate too from your embassy..

Thanks Ms. Soniya...=)
What if she will resign from company and go back to our home country, do we need to wait for 2 years for me to apply for her sponsorship?
