Travelling with business visa from Phil
Hi,
I travel for Qatar on December this year with a business visit visa from the Philippines. Quick question, will the Immigration people in the airport ask for a medical certificate from an accredited medical clinic here in the Phil considering that i am travelling with a business visa?
What are other things i need to comply before going to the airport and have a hassle-free trip.?
Mga Kabayan, i need your help on this.. :)
i have invitation letter, is it needed that it is authenticated at phil embassy in doha?can you give me free advise too..my travel will be next week already.. thanx and have a good day!
business visa, then there should be no complication. BUT and again BUT if it's a business visa bought somewhere here in Qatar and will be use to scout for a job here, then that's where the complications comes in!So WHICH is WHICH?(but again, no one stop anyone from trying) JUST DON'T COMPLAIN if OFFLOADED!
Simboy - have you tried leaving the Philippines to a ME country with just those docs?
Do you have any idea about the process a Pinoy has to go through to leave the country? Or the taxes that have to be paid?
BTW.... I recently tried to bring one of our Engineer's back on a BV and we had to book a ticket showing his return trip.
Please make your facts certain.
Please read this.Hindi dapat hinaharang ng immigration officer ang ating mga kababayan.Print this at kapag binigyan ka ng hard time pakita mo ito.Travel Requirements for Filipinos IN GENERAL, FILIPINOS TRAVELING ABROAD NEED ONLY TO PRESENT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS:• Valid passport – at least 6 months;• Valid Original visa for port of entry( when required); and• For tourists, a return ticket. (Memorandum Order No. MCL – 07 -019 issued on October 24, 2007).
my brother in law just came to Doha last 27th Aug from Cebu. the immigration officers just asked from him the invitation letter, CR & municipality, and computer card copy of the company that sponsored him. and then he accidentally mentioned that his 2 brothers are working here. so the officer asked from him copy of passport and visa page. i just faxed it over and they let him go.
What is a "business visit " visa? It's either a business visa from a company who wants you to do business for them over here, or it is a visit visa...non?
Have a trip to Thailand with a local airline, as if you're just going for a holiday. Be sure you have plane ticket from Thailand to Doha... Then get board to the Qatar Airways from there:)
Hassle-free:)
Try to acquire a letter from the Philippine Embassy here in Qatar to support that Business visa of yours. Otherwise those immigration officers will surely hold your flight or may result of looting you by those miserable officers...
Please avoid shortcut process as much as possible to keep your travel unpoiled:)This is the only legal and easiest way to travel with business visa.
Good luck...
Like on....... "just be smart and confident..!" Anyway, thanks a lot guys.! 20k is a huge amount of money..! Do they really have the guts of asking their kabayan that amount?
they won't ask for your medical certificate but for sure they'll gonna find a way to check how much money you have so that that they'll know if they will let you go or not... :)just to be sure, gather all the documents required (i.e. support docs, invitation letter, special exit permit from poea, return ticket, etc.) or prepare atleast Php20k if you want to avoid any hassle... HTH...
You will need to have escort to pass to immigration since they are looking for money, most of the people I know who are going for business visa were being stopped in immigration.
thanks a lot for these pieces of advice guys. I really appreciate them.. :)
... it is also advisable to bring with you authenticated school papers and certificate of employment... if you can request for a certificate and/or invitation letter from your sponsor (whoever will issue your business visa)... minsan they are also asking for "show money".
As far as I know they won't check it and yet if you want to make sure check it with Qatar Embassy in the Philippines.
