Italian Citizen plans to visit Qatar. Any documents additionally to the Passport he/she is expected to submit ?
Does he/she has to have hotel booked ? Bank statement ?
Extra passport size photos ? Return ticket ? Is anything required besides the Passport ? Thank you !
Thank you for response ! Not sure the Traveler is expected to have and show 5000 QR in Rome prior to boarding Qatar Airways ? That is not very convenient, so I guess, to have some cash (euro equivalent) and valid credit card would be sufficient. And using "Al-Maha service" would make the process here easier, I think. Thank you very much ! It's clear now.

Visa on arrival requires a credit or debit card or a cash of QAR 100 for paying the visa at the immigration counter. If somebody is accommodating him/ her, there is no need for a hotel booking (but she should know the address where he/she will stay as the immigration personnel usually ask for it). There is also a required QAR5000 show money, which is usually being asked by the airline when you check in; it is rare that the immigration personnel ask for such show money.

I dont think cash is accepted. It is safe to carry credit or debit card which is for sure accepted.
