I have a question about renewing my visitor visa - as far as I can tell I have a 'Joint Tourist Visa' (I am Canadian). According to the MOI Website, "Visa is valid for one month and extendable for another one month." I came in on Oct 28th and was planning to stay until the end of January. So does this mean I can only stay until Dec 28th? Is there a way to extend it further, e.g. by leaving the country and coming back?

Also, is there a physical office to go to to have your visa renewed? I can't find a physical address on their website.

I will advise , go to dubai for 3 days enjoy make fun and inform to your friend which is living in qatar apply your visit visa, and process will take aprox 2 days

next 3rd day you can come back to qatar for next two months again.

Immigration Office at the Airport.... Big white building at the back of departures car park.

After 2 months you will need to do a visa run, leave the country and re-enter to get a new visa.
