Visa - Visitors - family and friends

hi, if my Australian friend (girlfriend) is going to visit Doha, what do they need to do?

Please advice on:

1- Visa period (max) and how to obtain them?
2- If I have a two bedroom, can my girlfriend come over to stay with me?
3- If my friends (boys and girls) are coming over for holiday, can they stay at my accommodation with me?
4- If one couple is married, do they need to bring their marriage certificate with them, everywhere they go?

any info or past experience is greatly appreciated.

i think i answered all your questions...

about marriage Cert.. ok, let them bring it.. i don't think it is too heavy to exceed a luggage limit... what's the problem? but i can not see any case when they will need it except of checking in to the Hotel.. since they are staying at your place, and unless you require from them this document, they should be ok...

thanks for checking out my profile.. Qatarisun...

for some reason, i got this under 18 after i registered... i must have made some mistake in there. But can you just answer my question without the age limitation thanks.

I will try to fix the age thingy later on.

cheers,

if you r under 18 as your profile says, you won't be allowed to the bar with or without anybody.. and what is this weird question, whether your married friends need a marriage cert to enter the bar or hanging out...

you sound weird.. you are under 18, and you live in 2 BR flat alone? and work as an instructor? Instructor of what? Who you can instruct in your 'under 18'?

glad to hear some replied, and care enough to even check out my profiles too.

If my married friends are going to stay with me, in my apartment, then do they still need to bring the marriage cert.? and what kind of problems that you need to have it with you. Please let me know so that i can tell them.

thanks,

so my girlfriend will be ok to come and visit me...and stay with me for a month.

Also, if we are traveling around for sight seeing and tourist visiting, would we have to face the problem of not married or not allow to do things together?

eg. going to the bar, restaurant, beach, and in general... Is it legal (or OK) for us to be seen together?

abraham1723, do not mislead the guy.

Australians can obtain a visit visas upon arrival at the airport for 1 months (QR100).

Any of your friends/visitors can stay at your apartment with no any problem whatsoever. By the way, your profile says you are under 18 (??) Are you with your parents here?

Married couple would need a marriage certificate only if they are planning to check in to some hotel. Other than that they should be fine...
