Visiting Visa (family visa) requirements of the Immigration Office:
1. Visa application (typed) -(this is in Arabic)
2. NO objection letter from the sponsor company
(mention the job title, salary, and no objection
to invite for a visit)
3. Passport and ID copy (for the sponsor)
4. Passport copy of the visitor
5. The original (actually this is authenticated copy)
Marriage certificate or a copy authorized by the
Sponsor Embassy and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
Qatar (in case applying for wife)
6. Birth Certificate for the children (in case applying
for them)
7. Proof of Relationship between sponsor and visitor
(in case of visitors other than wife & children)
8. House rent agreement (in case of bachelor or the
wife not holding residence visa)
Regarding your marriage certificate. The original should be attested by the embassy and then by the MOFA. When you apply for the visa you should produce the copy of this attested certificate. Also when you go to apply for the visa, carry the originals of all documents (except the passport of your wife) as proof.
If you are planning to bring your wife to Qatar its mandatory to produce the following documents,
1. Marriage certificate
2. Copy of the passport of your wife
3. Copy of your Qatar ID card
4. No objection letter from your company stating your position and salary
5. Copy of your employment contract
6. Proof of lease agreement
The points 5 & 6 are not mandatory and will be needed to be produced depending upon the person who is handling your visa request. Now regarding your marriage certificate. The original marriage certificate should be attested by the embassy & then by MOFA. When appying for the visa you should have a copy of this attested certificate. Also you should carry the originals of all documents (except the passport of your wife) with you when you go to apply for the visa (as proof).
