Visit Visa Extension for my son

Hello, I brought my wife and son here in Doha last June and I wanted to know if it's still possible to renew a family visit visa after the sixth month? My wife is currently working and on the process of getting her Residence Permit, and the company she joined in got her visa extended for 2 more months. Me & my wife are really having trouble with my 5 year old son visa. Can someone help us and tell us what are the things we have to do and things to prepare? we only got two weeks. Thank you

As per our company PRO we just need to renew my son's visa for at least a month until my wife residence permit has been finalized and got her contract then our company PRO will apply for my son's RP. He told me that my salary together with my wife salary will be enough to meet the minimum amount required in sponsoring a child. I just hope this really will work.

Speak to the Captain at Top Floor in Immigration Dept-Garrafa. If you request 1 month, he will extend for 2 weeks. The next time 1 week, The next time 4 days, the next time 2 days......

But dear friend , Please note that the same amount of

Money is taken each time you renew irrespective of duration.

Better send him back home.

But extension of visa is possible. I have experience!

Why not apply a residence visa to your son? If you are qualified to sponsor them then it's better to apply a residence visa for your wife & son under your sponsorship. With that you need a company letter stating your position,QID, and salary.
