Where & how long to extend tourist visa

I'm currently on a tourist visa and it will expired on August 26. Hope you can answer these questions:

1) Can I extend it at the immigration office across Doha airport? If not, where do I go?

2) How long would it take to extend it in person? Since Eid holidays just around the corner, I just want to make sure I don't miss the deadline.

3) If my spouse holds a valid RP and is applying for my RP, but it might not be ready before my tourist visa expired, is there any other options besides extending my tourist visa for another 30 days?

Thanks for your input

Thanks for your comments. To Mccoyq, I have a tourist visa which will expire on the 26th of August. Although it will be on Sunday, I'm afraid that it might take more than one day to extend it. But what if not, then I face overstayed penalty. Since Eid holidays will be a week prior, I was thinking to extend it on/before the 17th to make sure. Do you have any suggestion on this?

Thanks

if your in a tourist visa, max is 30 days only. if Business visa, max is up to 60 days. If family visit visa, then up to 6 months. Now, which visa did you came in? Provide the correct type and specific answer could be intimated.

Your tourist visa can be extended two more times at the airport. You can go before Eid to do so
