Work Visa??

I am here on business visa from June 2010. Now, my company has got me a visa. These are the details shown on the paper.
Visa type: WORK VISA-ONE VISIT.
Purpose of Visa: VISIT.
Duration of Residence: 5 years.
Profession: Professional.
Is this the proper work visa or just a business visa? The date of issue is 11 Aug 2010. How much longer should I wait to get my residence permit? Also, after I get the residence permit, how much time would it take to get the family visit visa?
Pls advise me.
