worried:(
hi there. just want and need ur response to my worries badly. hope u guys will give me time to answer my questions. i just ended my 2-yr contract lst mar'13. FYI, my son came as visit visa under my sponsorship. i applied for another company as my old sponsor gave me NOC. all the necessary papers needed for transfer was given to my prospect employer where my husband is working also(upon hiring me, they promised to give my son a family visa) but sad to say i still was not transferred coz they have to renew my RP expired lst mar 20. actions were made to renew my RP but was rejected by the immigration bec my son's visa was expired lst mar 1. the mandoob processing my papers told us to settle first our son's visa then they RP will b renewed. IS THERE ANY CHANCE THAT MY SON'S VISA WILL BE EXTENDED (had already 9-mos total extension since arrival? we have an appointment with the captain may 12. i am just very worried maybe they will put us in jail coz of my expired RP and my son's visa. WHAT ARE UR ADVICES? tnx
Jail term, will not happen, but paying the fines well tht is ur responsibility and the longer u wait the more it becomes.
Stop believing idol promises, always get it on black and white. Then again desperation make u do strange things. Now u wanna shift the blame...NO NO NO...IT'S UR RESPONSIBILITY..
Can I just say also that you will NOT be allowed to leave the country without paying the fine! This happened to a fellow Australian friend - her two children's visa's were not extended and were overdue and when they all tried to go back to Australia, Immigration at the airport departure would not allow them to leave. It was a mad midnight dash to the other Immigration office to pay the fine - 10,000QR!!! Sorry to tell you this but forewarned is forearmed.
I really wish good luck for you and your son - it is terrible predicament that you find yourselves in. :(
Tnx. Now i have really learned my lesson. He is just good for nothing
i suggest that for personal reason, do not entrust it to the mandoop because mandoop are for the company purposes only nothing more nothing less. most of the mandoop will say that they know everything but in the long run, they did not do anything.
The mandoub and i went before to the immi to extend my son's visa but rejected. That is why he just told me i will be processed first. If only i knew all these will happen i will just leave together with my son last march 1. I should not have applied for another company..
go to the one who told WILL HANDLE...lol...:))
The mandoub already did last week but told me my rp wont be renewed accdg to the immi bec i am the sponsor of my son. Hat is why i am really upset bec two mandoubs of this company is telling opposite opinions. One told us not to worry they will handle and another told us it will be a big problem. We confided this to the general manager and he said the mandoub will work it out.
the mandoob is not interested in ur son...he does not care...ur supposed to be involved in ur son visa issue..good way of blaming on others
Tnx for d advice. My point is y when i was hired they did not inform me ahead that i should extend my son's visa? I even let the, see my son's passport. Another thing is even the mandoub did not insist about doing so. He just told me the general manager will just write a ketter to the immigration to let me extend the visa if my son. He also told me that i will be processed first then after my son. So i was hoping everthing will be okay. They should inform me before hiring all these stuff before hiring or before they can transfer my sponsorship with them.
before you can extend or renew your son's visa, you have to renew first your own visa.
you cannot extend or renew your son's visa without exiting because its been expired since march. company is not the one who will sponsor your son a residence visa but its the parents.
company are not the one who will give a visa for your son, they will just give an noc that they are allowing you to sponsor your son a visa once your working visa is process.besides, your son holds only a visit visa and not residence visa. even government companies like hamad hospital does not sponsor their staff children instead they are giving noc wherein their staff will be the one to sponsor their family for a visit visa or residence visa upon approval by the immigration. btw. you know that your son's visa will expire before while you still have a job but you did not do something about it. the only thing you can do now is to pay the fines and exit.
ur personal problems u put it on the mandoob...strange...stop crying...go pay the fines and get ur son visa done
Tnx for ur comments
file a case on them ? For what. It was you responsibility to extend the visa of your kid which you didnt do.
no jail for family and personal sponsorship matters.. 1ly fines
exactly, we dont have that huge amount to pay for the penalty and i dont have work. the problem also is my new employer keep on promising to give my son a visa but now that problem arise with transferring my visa bec i am my son's sponsor, they left us to nowhere and insist to settle my son's problem first. i want to file a case on them bec in the first place the pro was aware about my son's case and even the general manager was also the day i was hired.
the best thing that you can do now is to pay the fines, exit qatar then come back again via your husband family visit visa sponsorship.
visit visa penalty is QR200 per day. your son's visit visa expired since march 1, 2013. if you are going to compute that QR200 X # of days since march 01= that's a huge amount.
Go back to ur country
1.go searching and follow police department with open tektite they well send u back to ur country
2.You pay fine what u get fine for extension visa and stay as you like
Tnx for the replies
Usual visit visa fine = 200QR/day. So calculate from there and be prepared to pay the piper for the delay. He may have to exit and re-enter, plead with the captain and hope you can just do the Bahrain and back trip w/visa on arrival. If not, patience...
you will pay the big fine only
No you don't get jailed for having expired RP or Visa. But you have to pay heavy fines for over stay.
