wrong visa
i applied for tourist visa in airport office yesterday, when i printed the visa today it came with a mistake in her name and place of birth, i went back to the airport office but they told me it must be done by maintenance who come only from 7 to 12 .
did anybody face a similar situation? is it easy to correct a visa already issued??
MD, nobody knows why they still make mistakes,.. i dont understand it myself, the passport copy is in front of them, all they need to do is type/copy from it..unless of course they do it with eyes closed.. :P
The US embassy spelled my husband's name wrong on his new passport. Took me another 2 weeks until they fixed it right (this was after being promised it would take only 48 hours max).
The question is why do they make these mistakes? Are they stupid?
mjamille28 is right. you can get the corrected visa print outright at the airport immigration dept.
nope, they changed it and they did the printing as well, we just waited at the counter while they do it..i don't know if it's the same with visas issued at the airport though..
thank you for the answer.. do you mean they change it and then you print it again online with the correct data?
don't know about visas issued in the airport.. but we encounter same everytime we get visa for my daughter in the immigration office, they always type the name wrong, we just go back there and ask them to change it.
