Spending hours by calling the Philippine Embassy Office in Qatar is not a joke. Going there just to know the requirements is not so sweet either.
Save time, effort and money in going to the embassy by having these documents ready onhand:
- Certificate of No Marriage Record (CENOMAR) issued by NSO and duly authenticated by DFA (aka redribbon)- original and photocopy
- Birth Certificate issued by NSO and duly authenticated by DFA (aka redribbon)- original and photocopy
- One (1) colored copy of passport of the contracting parties
- One (1) piece visa photofor both parties
- Affidavit of Intent to Marry (available at the embassy), you must fill it up there and find 2 Kabayans to sign as your witness
- Fees- QAR 200 cash Avoid Monday and Wednesday processing as it is Ms. Remy's (Civil Registrar) bussiest days.
