Games Shopping for PS2

Dear All,
After a lot of thinking for buying a video game console, I have selected the PS2 with the current offer (2nd controller and memory module + 2 games)
Now: I found myself interested to have more games, however, as a new to doha I could not find more games in City Center (the place I got my PS2 from).
Could you please help me of the following:
1-where could I find good variety of games
2-Is there any place for trading games or selling used games.
3- Is there any place I can modify my PS2 to play Copied DVDs or CDs.

I have got my PS2 from Carrefour city center (PS2 + Original joypad + 8 MB + 2 good DVD original games = 695 QR. The main problem now is the console is PAL system runs PAL games only.
Regarding the Joypads I have found them in Carrefour city center for 49 QR per each, 8MG memory for 58 QR. I have found another one in LULU hyper market for 12 QR !!! I really do not know how to distinguish between the original and the fake ones.
Playing on PS2 is really nice and I like it more than playing on the PCs. It is really wonderful on a good 32 inch TV.

near national, you will find them in the same mentioned above places. Like Souq Asiri, Waqef and Al Ahmad. You should get both for less than 50 I guess. But if you are seeking the expensive original ones, then I will go with e46M3. Jareer also got those expensive ones.

looking for ps2 joypads and couldnt find it in national market. help!
You can find them in SOuq Ahmed, located opposite of Souq Asiri somewhere near Al Fardan Building. Also many shop in Souq Asiri and Souq AlJabor selling te games.
Also you can find them around Al Sadd area behind KFC Al Sadd.
Also you can find in Al Gharraffa area on new shopping complex (forgot the name).
Souq Ahmed alone have places to modify PS2 for 120QR.
Anyway how much you paid for the PS2?.
FYI, I myself and kids not playing PS2, we play the games on PC with decent 3D card.
