Would like to know if there are any shopping malls and eating places(not the high-end dining/lunching please) near the Ramada Hotel withing walking distances.

The Marhaba (welcome) book has a decent map of the city. You can find it at Carrefour. Maybe MegaMart in the Centre.

behind Ramada there are Center mall with mega mall supermarket and KFC and many other shop, also just cross the street on front of ramada and there are place full of fast food resturants
