Age criteria for Lower and upper KG

What is the minimum age requirements as per CBSE norms in india ... i did google this but couldnt come to conclusion as info varies .. y daughter aged 3 is in LKG and son 4 is in UKG .. are they too small for their grades ?
they r below 6 months as per some schools based in india .. will it affect their development .. am in a dilemma ...

Gud Evening ,my son age is 4 yr +10 months ,he is weak in studies [english],now he is studying in KG 2,please any one can i advice what is the procedure to repeat him again in KG 2?Now he is studying in NOBLE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL.

i think 3+ for LKG & 4+ for UKG are good. about the writing, well some kids takes longer than other. if given regular practise u can c the change within 3 months.

tx saj for ur input ... yes i do feel am taxing my kids ... their writing is not neat ... other activities they r good... am even thinking of repeating the same grade next year ...

yep some kids do find it difficult.My daughter is 5years 1 month and in grade 1.Compared to other kids she is bit slow in writting part,its like too much pressure on her with all weekly test in Indian school.I regret,enrolling her at age of 3 to LKG.Depends on kid coz each child is different.

If she is 3+ in September she can get admission in LKG (nursery) If 4+ in September your Son can get in UKG (Preparatory)
