We are new to the area and are looking for an English Speaking school with Islamic Studies and Arabic programs. We need something for 4 children near Qatar foundation, anyone have any suggestions....
EVERY school in Qatar is required by law to offer Arabic and Islamiyat classes -- even English-medium schools. So just find a school that you like, and the Arabic and Islamic Studies stuff will be there.
Qatar Academy is a very good school but very difficult to get in, even its harder to get on the waiting list
take a look http://www.qataracademy.edu.qa/output/Page3.asp
English Modern School is also a good school, it depends on the teacher, do do have some bilingual teachers teaching the pre school, shich is not apprporiate. I think Englsh sepsking schhol should hire English speaking teachers except for the Arabic and Islamic Studies. OVERALL still its a good school
English Modern is where two of my children go.... one of them gets in fights on a daily basis. Not really happy with that school. Thanks for the suggestion though~
