overseas f... worker
a few years ago when i was stationed in saudi arabia, many of fellow pinoys coined themselves as Overseas Forever Workers. because many of them do not know what's life going to be after saudi arabia & ends up working there till they're in their late 50's. some of them will bring home savings but will not be well equipped to re-integrate themselves in the philippines especially when putting up a business. ang tagal kasi nila nawala kaya di na sila sanay sa buhay pinas. some do not have a plan at all & will stay in saudi for as long as saudi needs them. but really, what is life after saudi? or better yet folks, what would life be after qatar? well really, we can't be in this country forever right? so what's our "plan B"?
fellow pinoys, let us share our ideas on how we are going to pursue life after being an OFW. nobody wants to be an OFW forever so what's it going to be.... your ideas may help others who are still trying to build one.
sabi ng isa dito, mag ipon daw ng pang puhunan tapos mag tatayo ng bigasan o piggery sa batanggas.
yung isa naman, mag apply daw sa dubai... ngek! ganun din OFW pa rin.
eto nakakagulat, patatpusin daw yung panganay ng college para maka pag abroad din. tapos retire na sya at aasa na lang sa anak. hmmmm... ambitious prospect???
