Update of Mitery Kunja 1st to 16th April

Dear Well-wishers of Mitery safe house,

Giving continuity to our attempt in providing regular updates to our generous donors and well wishers, today, we are updating our latest news on the state of affairs at the Mitery Kunja Safe House.

On day 5th April 07, Mr. David Pearson visited Kunja with lot of items to donate. A refrigerator, a dishwasher, a vacuum cleaner, mattresses, pillows, blankets, tea cups, spoons, a heater, tape recorder, plates and some other items were among those items.

On 14th April 07, the Kunja was visited by Al- Jazeera Television Journalist Mr. Imran Garda and a Vietnamese lady Ms. Phung –Y’ Nguyen. They had come to take interview of Mr. Ngyuen Van Dung, a Vietnamese nationality worker, who has been taking refuge in Mitery Kunja since December, the starting month of the Kunja. Ms. Phung –Y’ Nguyen acted as an interpreter to the Journalist and Ngyuen Van Dung. His own story narrated by Nguyen Van Dung himself in Vietnamese language later translated by Ms. Phung – y’ Nguyen made everyone feel his misery. Some questions asked by the journalist were answered by founder of the Kunja that day.

On 16th April 07, Madam Clotilde visited the Kunja with her French community group. They brought a fridge, gents and ladies dresses, can foods, a sack of rice and other food items along with them.

We really thank you from our heart for your great support and effort.

We’ll be keep on sending you regular updates of Mitery Kunja and Mitery Club work progress.

Thank you,
Gokul Kunwar
