Wireless Internet Connection Problems
Gud Morning,
I have problem with my wireless Internet connection in this computer? I have Excellent connection, but when i am using my internet, it is very slow, not working properly unlike before. More than 2 weeks i am suffering from this problem. Anyone can help me what to do.

The first question to start with is ...
Is your wireless connection secured with a passport? If not then anyone can use your router to have internet.
If this is the case, try setting up a password and you will see the difference.
If not, check the other users around you ... they might be using some Torrent download clients that are slowing down your connection speed.
The firewall on the router won't slow the connection, but it might block some online games, download clients from downloading materials efficiently.
Hopefully your IE setting are not using a proxy to connect, if there is just remove it.

My friend there could be alot of reasons for such an issue:
**do these steps:
1- check through laptop of one of your friends from same wireless network..
***if problem is the same, then:
--check with Qtel that they dont have common problem for the speed of that area ( u can check with neighbors to)
--try to reset and reinstall the wireless, turn it off then on..and so on..put password for it
***If problem doesnt exist with the other laptop, then:
--most probabley u been to harmfull website/program/whatever which damaged your computer and u need to have very strong antivirus and antispyware and prefered to format ur laptop..
--lower extent that somebody is logging to your router and keep downloading movies and stuff which will take good share from the speed... so to be in safe change the router (wireless) password

Please arragne a wire connection only for testing and check either you internet surfing is fast or not if not then refresh the OS other wise change wireless card
Download CCleaner software and run it. It will delete all your temporary files and they check the speed. Just google to find the download link
Best solution is to simply delete the connection, reboot and reinstall. It could be 1 of about 10000000 reasons.

How to check if i have proxy or not?
I turn off my firewall protection but nothing happen.
I delete all temporary internet file but still the same.
What to do?
Good What signal strength you are getting from the wireless and what is the status for other wireless users having good speed.
My computer connected through Atheros AR5005GS Wireless Network Adapter (Office Computer).
Provide us little detail which wireless connection you have means wireless router and what is the range you are getting.
Check whether you are using any proxy or not....if yes then remove it. You can even test with some other laptop your wireless connection.
