..public parking..

..how does one address road obstructions caused by some people who, with seeming disregard for other people, park their cars in the middle of the road..?...

as long as you can pass, then it's ok. The problem if it really blocks the road. LAck of parking is the usual excuse. Go other places, it's a common sight!

You park your car in the middle of the road sooner or later you'll be obstructing others. Some people are just too lazy to use even their common sense.

..it is..

..though, a very tight one..a car can pass through on either side..does that make it ok..?..

..still, the question remains - what to do, yanni..?...

can other cars still pass or is this car blocking others? Can you make a wider shot of the area concerned?

..a day to day basis, i really don't mind where people park their cars..but, everyone should be aware of how their actions would affect the others around them..

..total disregard for other's welfare is a sign of a person's lack of knowledge or an attitude one cannot be proud of...

..there may be rules..

..but because they are not implemented, the car is parked there again on the same exact spot...

Paying fine is not enough, people who do this should be jailed then maybe they will learn.

..we already tried the "legal" and proper means to address the situation..

..a phone call to MOI Traffic Department was made and received a reply of "go to moroor and report there"..or may be we dialled the wrong number from the website..?..

..we figured we'd just manage the situation ourselves by being blind to the situation..

..@drsam, posting it here was a result of frustration..please, try to avoid assuming that all people are too quick to "insult or publicly denounce" an OFFENDER (your words)..

..any better suggestions..?..

@brit, i can't help but agree..tiidas rule..especially in our area where there's so many of them.. c",)

This is a violation

I think people who deliberately do this is a very selfish person.

This often happens here, but that does not mean we can not do something to give a lesson to them.

take a picture or video and report it to police.

People around our neighborhood do the same and it is very infuriating to say the least. Is being magnanimous and considerate really so hard to grasp? Seriously!

call the police: obstruction of free traffic violation 1500 QR, wrong parking 500 QR.

u don't solve public problems by attacking, insulting or publicly denoncing the offender: it's not ur job, it's police's. otherwise it may degenerate into street fight, were both of u are culprit
