hi all...

My wife and I are thinking about employing a full time nanny to live at our villa. My question is, does anyone know what happens when we go on holiday for example or back home to uk for a week etc...

Does she go home to where she is from or is it expected of us to take her with us or what?

I know she will be here sponsored by me and she is my responsibility so I am not sure what we have to do in regards to us leaving the country for periods of time.

It's really up to you - you can send her home for a visit or just leave her in your home (with money, food, keys, etc., of course).

When we go on holiday we leave here here. I'm looking at visiting the U.S. for a month or so later this year, though, and I'm hoping to take her with us. . .we'll see.
