Visa for fiancee?

Hi everyone.

I am arriving in Doha on the 1st September to start my new job. I am from the UK. My fiancee is from the Phillipines and would like to visit me in Qatar for a couple of weeks.

Is this possible? I believe she needs to be sponsored? Am I able to do this or does my company do this?

Any advice hugely appreciated.

If your fiancee is coming from Phils, she will get a hard time in the airport hence Qatar Immigration in the Phils are now very strict for tourist and business visa. You can easily provide tourist visa via hotel or even business visa for travel agencies here but not guaranteed if she can pass the Immigration in the Phils.

Fiancee is not a legal relation here. You can't bring your fiancee on visit visa here. But you can do so by acquiring touris visa for her. For tourist visa you will have to contact to some travel agent or hotel directly. You'll have to spend around 1500 to 3000 QR depending which travel agent you go to. tourist visa is valid for 14 days only and it can be extended only once for another 14 days so in total 28 days. hope it helps
