Traffic / Tranportation Engineers needed?

I am from New Zealand and have been a traffic engineer for 7 years. Can anyone (civil engineers?) advise on opportunities for my profession since I hear there are traffic problems here?

Your comments about roundabouts being safer would only be correct anywhere but Doha. The people in this city do not understand the concept. If you wish to travel at a constant 120kph through the city roundabout lanes become insignificant. You simply take the direct path. Outside lane to inside lane to outside lane, becomes a straight line. If you can start a special traffic school which will educate the local drivers about Roundabout driving, welcome to Doha.

Roundabouts are a lot safer but not as efficent in congested situation as compared to traffic lights.

You are more than welcome to Doha. As long you don't design more roads with roundabouts and lack of water drainage, I'm tired of them.

J/K LOL

Do not invite death by the error of your life, nor bring on destruction by the works of your hands; because God did not make death, and he does not delight in the death of the living.
