I was planning to dispose my Toyota Land Cruiser 2004 GX automatic gear due to a possible change with the latest model.
What is the best way to do it, selling it thru a direct buyer or have it Trade-IN in toyota itslef....
As others are saying, a Trade-in is less hassle for you, but you'll get much less money for the vehicle. Selling it to a private buyer will get your more money but it will be much more of a hassle and potentially take a long time.
I'll try to get an appraisal in Toyota trade-in section. If their offer will not suits my expectation, then probably this goes for an auction to direct buyers…
Anyone knows how much the market value for this model?
My previous posting yesterday were block. QL wants it to be posted in classified. QL just don't understand that im not selling it yet. It's only a plan, hoping to made up my mind:)
Sell it outside, there is no way that toyota dealership will pay you fair. Definitely much lower than market price so they can have profit for re-selling.
to buy another land cruiser or Toyota, then trade-in with Toyota and use that money as your down payment. Trade-in works if you are getting another Toyota car from Toyota, otherwise it won't work and you have to directly sell it. Did you try advertising that on QL?

Yes. Trade in is less problem/head ache BUT less cost.
Sell it to direct buyers will earn you little sum of money compare to trade-in but you have to deal with different types of people.
