For doing the Medical,Go to Medical Commission (located at Abu Homour). You will get a form there which shall be typed.Typists are avilable there, they will charge you Qrs.10.Carry copies of your passport,ID,some pictures(you may not need all these but you never know what they will ask for).Once the form is typed go to the ladies sections (you can't enter there). The procedure is simple, first you got to pay the fees of Qrs.100,then go for blood test and then X-ray.In case your wife needs any help ask the security personnel there, they are quite helpful.Once medical is completed, they will give you a receipt. After 3-4 days,if the medical report is OK ,you can go for finger print. The location is at Al Waab (the road connecting the Khalifa stadium and Salwa road. Its starts at 7 AM. After a weeks time you can go to the immigration department at Gharafa and get the RP stamped.Your Kid doesn't need any medical check up or fingerprinting but just enquire about it at the medical commission, you never know when the rules change here.

Hope this helps.

Your kid doesnt have to go thru medical or finger printing.

You ll have to take the birth records, vaccination card and get it stamped. You ll need one picture of your kid.

Fingerprinting is only for kids 13+.

You ll need passports and your id and 100 QR each for your wife and kid .At medicals you can't accompany your wife.

Hope this helps
