Hubble Space Telescope back in busines...

NASA's Hubble Space Telescope is back in business, ready to uncover new worlds, peer ever deeper into space, and even map the invisible backbone of the universe. The first snapshots from the refurbished Hubble showcase the 19-year-old telescope's new vision. A new spectrograph slices across billions of light-years to map the filamentary structure of the universe and trace the distribution of elements that are fundamental to life.

Love the first and last ones… Superb..

i really hated the ides of letting it die, or destroying it in a fatal trajectory. the main reason was the risky space walk to fix it and the manned shuttles after the discovery explosion.

Oh, people can come up with statistics to prove anything, Kent. 14% of people know that.

I must admit that initialy I was one of those cynics who decried the cost of the telescope, but now I'm converted :O)

Back in business, It means, probably that your back is back in business.

The hubble telescope was having serious vision problems, I don't recall the numerous times, that NASA send the space shuttle to replace those expensive electronic components.

The Hubble has exceed its life time orbiting around earth. Once they thought of scraping the telescope to a dead orbit or have it crash burn back to earth, Yet, every time they fix it, it sends some extraordinary pictures of those millions of stars from far away.

I'm kinda dissappointed by the response on this thread. I guess people are more interested to solve love problems and bash religions and nationalities. Or like i said the news is kinda old
