why am i not entitled to get a visit visa for my sister? though i am under my husband sponsorship. honestly i dont know officer who can allow me to give me a visa for my sister, so tell me what to do? Did the immigration law implemented a new rule for some like me that is not entitled to obtain a visit visa for their family member?

if you r under your husband sponsership, u need to get a letter from your husband work of accepting sposorinf somebody, then he tells the immigration that the relationship is (my wife sister)

BOS may be necessary if her last name not match to yours

your husband salary should be more than certain amount in order to allow him to sponsor somebody

Sorry to tell you, You are not entitled to get the family Visa or Visit Visa for your Sister this is the rule of Immigration law. Only Parents & In Laws can get the Visa. It is waste of trying until u know some officer who can help u to get visa, this is the only possible way.

As far as I know, you cannot get a family visa for your sister. A family visa is only given for your husband or kids and visit visas are there for sisters, brothers, mother, father or children (some rules are different for children awell) which are valid for 3 - 6 months. In that time if she gets a job in qatar she can get a working visa sponsored by the company.

It's always the small things that make big differences.

you will need her birth certificate to show the authenticity of your relationship as sisters. this has to be attested by your embassy here in Qatar. Your will require a letter from your company stating your detailed salary which should be exactly the same as what is detailed in your labor contract.(must be in Arabic)

and all rest said by moenasser...

you will need her passport copy..

your work contract...

a copy of your RP here in qatar...

depending on the requirements you might need a copy of your marraige certificate if your married...

you will need two hundred riyals for the application fee..

you will need to fill out the form and sign it (which you should be able to get from the HR Dept. in your company)

and either have them apply it or you can apply it yourself in the Passport Affairs office..

It might take from a day to 2 months depending on the nationality! Good luck!
