is it really man's nature to desire something which they know/think they cannot have?
why is it that when we are told that we cant have it or when we are being pushed away the more we gravitate towards our object of desire? the more we are told off the more we want and the harder we work for it? is it just the challenge or the fact that we want to prove people otherwise? the more elusive it is the more intense we get...
how do u know if u should still keep pushing? and when do u finally just quit and say enough is enough?

1-Object of desire
Will power is the object of pushing What your inner heart desires. A strong seed where everything starts.
Example: Education goals, money sex, and materialist things.
2-The harder we work for it?
Goals and objectives set in our hearts, then mental attitude and perseverance is the main driving force behind it.
3-The fact that we want to prove people otherwise?
To prove others that you could do it and they are vulnerable and you are supreme.
4- This could be taken in different ways.
4A-To prove yourself you have the smarts to do it and educate yourself.
4B-To prove yourself to others, you have the skill and courage that sets you apart from everyone else in the group.
4C-Serial killers and rapist are notorious in this.
They need more and more to satisfy their hunger.
They have no control of their actions in becoming predators.
5 No is a challenging Word.
Is a negative word to all and a challenge word that will not comply with our objective and goals.
Is a form of frustration that express challenge and frustration. NO!
Not to many people will accept the word No in a kindly manner.
I rather use:
Stop Right there!
Is more Direct and affirmative.
Is based in your opinion.
Stop Is more of a command directive.
But remember How you use those words Stop and No is all in the Inflation of your voice and body gesture.

men sometimes thinks that saying "no" is equivalent to "challenge" and the more they will ask "why not?"...i don't know why it is like that? but sometimes the signals accompanied by saying "NO" will be a give away for a man to understand when to give up and when to treat it as a challenge...

I think it's pretty obvious when you should give up, when you've told them how you feel and they say they don't feel the same. You can't make someone fall in love with you. Either they do or they don't.

I guess our determination to pursue our intention to our object of desire has something to do with our EGO... We want to prove something for ourselves more than to prove it to others.. We want to satisfy this feeling of contentment and sometimes when it is being satisfied to a certain extent even if we haven't got what we really want, we loose our motivation...
It is better we persevere for something we desire.. at least we tried.
But even we stopped for awhile.. we can always continue this.. its just a matter of contentment at this time... so you can say enough is enough...

im not just pertaining to love and relationships here ;-P and king edshel, i am definitely not trying to break a up an existing relationship between 2 people...if they're happy together im sure someone else is meant for me..but if that object of ur desire is alone and afraid to take a step, its really something to think about especially if u know he feels something for u...
well, mr paul, maybe i should just let it go, but at the moment i cant, and i want to fight for it for a change...i know it would save me from misery to stop now but i think i havent tried hard enough...

challenge indeed, whenever you think that you got it then you lost it. Love is the only cup that has two different tastes and drinks. One gives happiness while the other gives sadness, gives joy or sorrow. You have to live with the fact that love is not always sweet, how would you know the sweet taste of love if you did not taste the sour part? If you don't want to live with love happiness and sadness then you are not ready yet.
But the relation itself won't be a challenge anymore if you tried to force yourself on someone. Enough is enough and I'm not interested means give it up and look for someone else. There is a different between desire and madness, between having a relation or forcing a relation.
People seeks what they feel that they would be comfortable with, happy with or passing good time with that company. Don't try to force yourself and make others life misery, don't try to break the existing relation between two persons and call that your victory. Love sometimes can be a battlefield, but you have to fight with honor and dignity to win in the end. What is the value of a shameless victory?
It never works like that, the shortest distance between two points is called 'STRAIGHT LINE'.
