This is a good company but very bad management, full of currupt officials. They say drivers are the face of the company but their killing us drivers with miscellanious fee worth Qr.400 for nothing. I hope the Emir will do something bout this. No salary increase no food allowed inside accomodation F*€kthis system!

I loved the series "undercover boss" in the UK. I bet some Qataris would be up for it, that would be amazing.

It's an issue for the expats, and as we know, Qatar doesn't give a shyte for them.

I don't think Mowasalat is an issue for Qataris: they all have their own cars!

It may be that those in executive positions don't know the reality on the ground. It is good that the OP has highlighted it..

Well brother dont make a lot of noise about it because tomorrow you may notice that your papers have been set aside to move you out and homewards. Just go with the flow. As you guessed right they give big talks that the drivers are the face of the company but its the stupid management and its bad policies and practices that is responsbile for taking such companies and its workers to the cleaners and onwards to shutting down operations.

in looking for savings. But the problem is that they are usually looking at getting savings from their Employees wages / pockets. At the end, it is detrimental to Company's well-being as Employees are its life-blood.

Mowasalat is solely owned by the Royal Family. How do you dare to say that there is anything wrong!?! Mowasalat is a 'holy cow'.

I am not sure that they are in a position to negotiate. Maybe he doesn't want to cool down, maybe he wants to let out his frustration and why not? Take care dear and make sure your user name is not similar to your real name, just in case.

Sorry to hear that. I have used taxis and public buses for 8 years in Doha and have had perfect service, the drivers are always honest and trustworthy. I commuted on the 104 from Dukhan to Doha for 3 years and have nothing but good things to say about the drivers.

You deserve better, I hope you will get it.
