You guys, Doha has put a ban on all personal use of fireworks. If you wanna see fireworks you have to travel outside of Doha. In reality, actually, I think this year there might be a chance of some fireworks. Your best bet is probably going to be at Diplomatic Club.

However, if there are no fireworks, there is a NEW YEAR DANCE PARADE going on at Sealine Beach Resort in Umm Sa'id. It really makes up for the missing fireworks. lol

Come join us. All of the info is available on the link for the events to the right-hand side of the topics page. You can actually search it. Look for "New Years Dance Parade" and the event page will come up. Ticket prices, start time, etc is all on the flyer. Bring all of your friends. DON'T MISS OUT!

Fireworks though...you guys, welcome to Doha. lol

If by any chance or some miracle there are fireworks, I'll be in shock. :-O

Well I've seen a firework display before here in Doha last Eid so I don't think it's banned here.

Does anyone has the copy of the cook book for the anarchy??? That book was the one that the kids in US used to bomb the school like 8 years ago. They tell you how to make fireworks too :)

Please please please... New years without fire works its boring.
