Don't get me started - I've emailed them a bunch of times and got no reply and tried calling but got bored of waiting. Feel free to try and contact them for me!

Don't worry though, you're not missing much. I've kept it limping along for just over a year but it's getting hard to find interesting stuff to post. Thank god for the recent fireworks and aeroplanes!

You're right Absolutejaguar, the language is above most people's normal everyday use, but the game's quite clever in that it has 'vocab levels'. When you answer three in a row correctly you go up a level, but answer one incorrectly and you go down a level. The higher the level, the harder the words (or so it seems). Eventually you should find you stay around the same level.

I've donated 3000 grains of rice so far, and I seem to be averaging around level 35, occasionally peaking up to level 39.

a total waste of good space..crawl back under your rock...

and just for the record...most of the African nations soils can't support agriculture and that's the reason they are so dependent upon others for food. Plus, you have to have enough bodily energy to raise crops and most of the people are starving to death and it MIGHT be a bit difficult to get up and plow a field when you can barely move a muslce to get a drink of water...IF you have some..

The level of the vocab in the game is well above anything most people use. Not exactly words in day to day usage.

The idea is a great one, just why do they make it so difficult

One thing for sure, like you said: You are not worthy to argue with. Since you like to SUCK does different flavored Lollipops. You are not even thinking when you post comments yourself. Honestly, you are the one that is looking for attention in this web site.

You must be a local punk with their pansy cars, life styles and attitudes of supremacy, hiding behind frustrated, deprived and frustrated sexual emotions. Tell the truth, you probably masturbate until you pass out.

Just because you got laid with a couple of hookers it does makes you feel like one? Right?

Keep sucking on those lollipops thagay..

your not worth my time... and your right i do like suckers... exspecially the jolly rancher ones... that taste like watermelon those are freaking good... oh and ask your self why the countrys havent been able to get over there addiction to others foods before you tell them they are wrong for there problems...

kind like why i ask my self why you are being an idiot and not thinking before you post... becaus your mom probably beat you as a child and rather work the streets than listen to you so you ended up an attention starved moron roaming forums trying to find attention like a pedifile rolling the play grounds... good job joto

Go back and suck on your Lollipop dude, The UN is the biggest Doggie drop that has ever existed. They cant even control the super powers, Arms dealing and wars.

Facts about the Un and their food program is they are a big Joke ever being publish, develop and elaborated. The Africans nations are totally depended on food from other nations and still after 40 years they have not develop a decent program to break their food addition.

Example:

Ethiopia and Somalia

An internet word game has generated enough rice to feed 50,000 people for one day, the UN's World Food Programme (WFP) has said.

The game, FreeRice, tests the vocabulary of participants. For each click on a correct answer, the website donates money to buy 10 grains of rice.

Companies advertising on the website provide the money to the WFP to buy and distribute the rice.

FreeRice went online in early October and has now raised 1bn grains of rice.

That is enough rice to feed 50,000 people for one day, the WFP said on Friday.

'Viral marketing'

The head of the WFP, Josette Sheeran, said: "FreeRice really hits home how the web can be harnessed to raise awareness and funds for he world's number one emergency."

She said word of the game has spread with the help of internet bloggers and websites like Facebook and YouTube.

"The site is a viral marketing success story."

FreeRice is the invention of US online fundraising pioneer John Breen.
