Qatar Foundation - Location, Quality, etc.

Hello everyone,

Can someone tell me where the Qatar Foundation is located (suburb of Doha, city centre, etc.) and whether it is a good area to work in? Is there good housing in and around the area?

Any other info about the area would be great.

There are many different levels and packages, you need to be very clear about what the offer is going to be. Qatar FOundation is located outside of the Doha city area. You need a car to get around, to shop etc.

QF is between Old Rayyan and Al Gharaffa, on the western outskirts of Doha. The campus is a decent place to work, although it is usually mired in construction projects. If you qualify for QF housing, you're in luck, because their new housing community is about 1/3 completed and people are already moving in. If you don't qualify for QF housing... geez... the QF housing allowance is not adequate.
