tahsin, the point is the QLSG management, as well as other QLers has to get to know you better, through your posts and your opinions/points of view expressions, before inviting you to someone's house.
QLSG management doesn't want to create inbalance in the group. If someone is constantly creating the problems in QL, or being impolite, or expressed some extremal opinions, QLSG managers' concern is whether or not this person can fit the group.
For those who believe, no explanation is necessary;

Yeah, while you may be genuine like some others but there are some who do cause trouble and it's not so easy or very nice to just delete them. Eg. if they cause trouble in members' homes, as per some in the past, they know where the member(s) live and work and can cause unnecessary trouble for them.
So the powers that be observe postings first. You'll be amazed as to how one's character comes across to others in the online forum. Of course, a person could just as easily hide their true colours but that'll usually be sorted out when they start to get to personally know you better.
All the best in joining later, it is a really fun group of friendly, kind hearted and helpful people. :0)

But, you can not ignore security measures... i think thats what QLSG does, maintain a highly secured group for social activities.. Oh, btw.. im not a QLSG member :P

Please don't expect approval if you have been a member for longer than two weeks, but have less than 200 points(in 2 weeks) plus with that i will check your performance on the main forum too.
CL..its not about the 48 hours..its about the qualification...I personally think that a social group should easily be accessible to everyone.

If someone becomes ooppsss in QL without violating the QL guidelines, it doesnt mean that one has to stop real socialising and be in QL for two weeks and ear 200 points to qualify... ((: am I right?
