A bird in the hand may not apply for you here. My apology. It is for an employee of limited education and means. But you are right. Why should one stay where he does not belong.

You might be a hand in the bird.

dragonfly, "a better stone", like stable ones...

nice idea for today's shaking economy.

I disagree with the "bird in the hand " idea. Having worked with many people who are simply treading water in their respective positions .

I think if you cannot find any challenges and none of the benefit from the company make you happy, you should think about your next move. Why stay when your soul and mind are not there. Give a chances to other people who want to get your position. But make sure you get better stone to step on before you jump.

Everybody is right everybody is wrong, it depend where you stand

I quit a job because it was so badly affecting my QUALITY of life. Salary and benefits etc were not an issue, I just kept having this horrible daymare that I was going to die of a stroke or heartattack and it wasnt worth it .

Lost the passion for what I was doing, accepted it was time to move on.

Was I happier after the change ,,,,,,absotively.

I didnt even think about it, nor did I have second thoughts. If you are not happy in your career it will overflow into your home life. I hate the thought of 'putting up and shutting up'.
