I just can't believe that now one of my friends are planing for his marriage with his Yahoo messenger GF.. They've been chatting for a long time.
What I can't believe is They have seen each other only on Web cam.. Never met before?? So how this could be possible??

It may work, sometimes people speaking to each other just seeing each other in a webcam.
In my case, we met on hi5 when we were looking for friends only, started to talk, switched msnm addy and soon we were talking using a webcam and spending 4 h online chatting with each other, sending poems, music, etc...:) Last year, on February, i went to Morocco to meet her and officialize our love, went back there on October and in 1 month i'll be there to get married ;)

atleast they have seen each other {on web} and talked many times ..i know 2 such couples who did't even saw each other before marriage....arranged by parents......
Lets face it a lot of people in the world have arranged marriages and only see their betrothed a few times before they get married and a lot say they are happy with who was chosen for them and are happy. He has not met her in person but at least he/she has chosen for themselves.
It may work. All I know if this was my friend I would be supportive, they are after all an adult and allowed to make their own choices, no matter how odd they seem to the rest of us. Equally you need to be supportive should it work out or go wrong.
