Drivers are crazy here and risk their own lives, never mind everyone elses!

We have a very clever traffic law in our country. It has only one paragraph. It says: everybody has to adjust his driving so that he doesn't impose a danger to himself or anybody else. There are no more paragraphs necessary!

I am happiest when there is someone driving in front of me on this road. If somethings going to happen, I'm not first in line. The thing is LP drivers get frustrated behind slow vehicles, or should I say slower than they want to go. Quite often what they are stuck behind is bigger than they are, so the have to move to left to look past it. Then they gamble if they can get past their hindrance before whatever is coming the other way will get to them. Some don't even put that much thought into it, and just swing out to overtake and vuola.... there is something coming the other way and bang!

TB, the people coming the other way MUST be prepared for these idiots! If you drive at a speed which doesn't allow you to stop if something comes your way, you were TOO FAST, too!

you can only blame the idiots driving. I've driven that road hundreds of times - no problems with the road it's the drivers who think they can defy God and death. Serves them all effin right. No sympathy here - they ask for it.

You sure they'll do any good.

I thought mighty Landcruisers were exempt from the law here.

Hope to see more traffic police on streets soon. On Friday, two mighty landcruisers were speeding on E-ring and drove through red traffic light at the round about. One Nissan drove through red light (pedestrian crossing) on Corniche on Saturday. This morning a lady drove with her Yukon on the bicycle path on Al Waab street. By the way, I found out that wearing seatbelt in the back is not mandatory (!), no wonder kids are jumoing up and down, haha.
