Soap on the Camel Cruisers

Can anyone tell me why some of the Camel Cruiser owners, aka Toyota Land Cruiser owners, apply soap to the front of their vehicles?

I thought they greased the car front so that anything they hit just slides off...

who drove a BMW back to Kuwait from Germany.

It had to be resprayed and have new headlights because of the damage from sand.

I don't see how it can keep the engine cool?

how come how does that work?

guess then the traffic dept should fire all the staff. because when i used that they took my car and my license.that was when this GREASE thing on bonnet was not allowed in Qatar.

They use that soap / shampoo to keep the engine cool when they travel to a longer distance.

Driving "into" the sand, makes it act like a sand blaster and can do more damage.. Look at the headlights.. the glass will be pitted..

use the same in Saudi..

It protects the paint in sand storms, otherwise the sand will strip the paint.

thats mostly grease to protect the paint while on long drive.

try yourself get on salwa road drive at 120 or 150km/h you will know
