HELLO GUYS

PLEASE POST YOUR REPLIES AS "YES" OR "NO" TO THIS TOPIC

DO
YOU THINK QATAR AND THE WORKING COMMUNITY OF EXPATRIATES WILL BENEFIT
IF THE CURRENT BAN OF 2 YEARS IS REDUCED TO ATLEAST 6 MONTHS.

THE POINTS OF CONSIDERATION HERE IS

TALENTED EMPLOYEES ARE FORCED TO WORK IN COMPANIES NOT SUITABLE TO THEM JUST BECAUSE OF THE FEAR OF LOSING A SOURCE OF INCOME.

EMPLOYERS LOSE THE OPPORTUNITY TO HIRE SKILLED MANPOWER

AFTER ALL TWO YEARS IS INDEED A LONG TIME TO WAIT.

BE FREE PEOPLE AND GIVE YOUR COMMENTS SO ATLEAST TODAY OR TOMORROW OUR HOPES OF LIFTING THIS BAN WILL BE A REALITY.

THIS IS A REQUEST TO THE GOVERNMENT OF QATAR AND I HOPE SOMEONE WILL NOTICE THIS OR POINT THIS OUT TO THE CONCERNED

THE ORACLE

lol.. vegas... i can tell where you work.. it has little to do with qatar.. :):)

yes.. there is a rule: if you had to leave qatar AND you don't have a NOC letter from your sponsor, you cannot come and work in qatar during 2 years (so-called 2 year ban).. but if you got your NOC, you still can work no problem....

This country is rich enough to absorb the cost of anybody being recruited here. Other countries do it. So why not here.

I know there is a 'business' thing here that they are scared that people may share sensitive information with another compnay.

That is just a joke, we have pen drives now and that information can and sometimes is shared whether it is a 2 year ban or not.

If a person has broken the law then actually they should be banned for life. If somebody is moving jobs as it gives them more job satisfaction, status or money then so be it. That happens all over the world. It is normal practice.

It is illegal, archaic and wrong.

I will hoist that up the flag pole and see who salutes it!!

Employers should be compensated monetarily instead of the 6-month ban as this benefits no one in actuality. There should be freedom of employment for the employee or else it could be compared to almost slavery which is the current situation that we face.

I know that the employers spend money but what good is spending that money if they are not able to keep that employee happy and instead committing "haraam"by exploiting him for financial gain. Isnt that whats happening in  most of the companies out here? Furthermore the goverment should do away with the "ban" insteading of ganging up with employers against helpless employees!

yes offcourse thats absolutely true. it should be at least 6 months. in two years some people might be working to earn some money for their education or experience, but if he gets a job which is not at all related to his professionalism then he is doomed for this two years and he will forget whatever he has learned from last 15 years. i hope this sponsorsip rule just gets away from here so that everybody can develop themselves and the economic results wil definetely touch the skies.

Yes, alot.

And i would like to add that in fairness to the sponsor who spent money recruiting people, ban should be six months for those who completed at least 2 years contact.
