I have been 4 months working in Doha,
Now I want to resign but worry the boss angry with me.

Can I use one of the holiday, ask boss for exit permit,
than fly back home contry and never come back again?

Ofcaurse I will never want to see my boss again.

Will there be any problem that can happen to me in the future.
(I have no problem to get another job in my home country.)

(also I don't have taken any loan here.)

im already out of qatar hehehe. no bank loans. after my vacation last month i went straight to abu dhabi since i have applied the visa last january.

i don,t really hate my employer, just that he didn't gave me the raise he promised after what i did for the company.

also it is a career dead end. i'm second in command and my boss have no plans of expanding. i'm a project architect and leads only two people.

so now im out and free to look for other opportunities.

In this modern world, internet is the great equalizer.

I am working for more than 3 years here in Qatar with my family, I want to resign but I am 100% sure that my employer will not accept my resignation? As far as I know, we don't need to get there permission for our resignation as long as we inform them 1 month before the effective date ( correct me if I am wrong). My question is, is there any way not to accept my resignation letter? I don't have any loan from bank and company but my worry is how do we get our exit permit if he do not accept my resignation letter. Please advise me the best way to do because there is a lot of employees applied for emergency leave and chose not to come back in the company.

Can I get exit permit from labor department if my employer did not accept my resignation letter?

Please help me!

well, don't be using him as a reference for future employment if you don't come back.

if you feel that resignation is not an option, then yes you can leave and given the fact that you have no loans.

do as mentioned above, issue an email or letter after leaving notifying your boss.

Listen to your heart.. don't give up! Don't support slavery law of Qatar.. World is big place and there are lots of opportunity outside Qatar. Qatar population/country is very small..... so think and do what is best for you... let Qatar implement no 2 years but 100 years ban law... after all they are looser... not professionals/engineers/doctors...

fly to your home and never come back ... That's if your boss would agree to sign your exit permit first ...

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. (Gautama Buddha)

since you haven't taken any loans, it's kind of ok.. but please, as soon as you leave, let your boss know that you won't come back, so that he could find a substitution for you instead of waiting till u "come back"..

Send him an e-mail, saying something like "due to personal circumstances…blah-blah-blah…”,apologize and thank him for being a nice boss. Finished.
