Leaving a job while on probationary period

I am more than 2 months but less than 3 months (probationary period) working in a company here in Doha. I would like to clarify, what would be the consequence if I decide to resign before and after the 3 months probationary period. I haven't signed a contract yet. The only binding agreement we had is the offer letter which says that we will have this 3 months probatioanry period and all issues will be in accordance with Qatar Law. If I will resign before or after the end of this 3 months period, what would be the difference in:
1. their charges to my remaining salary? (they shouldered all expenses from my home country, also the cost of travel)
2. can I go on my home country as soon as 1 week?
thanks for the answers. the reason of resigning is just to go home and not work in other company.

my contracts stated 3 days notice period during probation period, but is it referring to working days or calendar days, what is the labour law definition on the word "days"?

Well, then go to the labour department and ask them!

the offer doesn't mention anything about expenses, but it says 3 months probationary period and qatar labor law will be followed.

Some contracts mention that if any party wants to terminate during the probation period notice period is 3 days...chk whether ur contract has the clause...

It is also said that, 'The employer shall pay the worker his wage in full for the notice period (provided for in the preceding article) if the worker performs his work in the usual manner during the said period.

If you do not work the specified notice period you will have to pay em back the wages for the rest of ur notice period...

DO VERIFY WITH LABOR LAW...NOT VERY SURE..

Read the paper that you signed. You probably got an offer that you signed. That is a contractual agreement between two parties. You need to read this piece of paper signed by you and check what it says regarding the recover of any expenses.
