honda CRV resale value

i'm looking at a 2008 pathfinder and 2009 honda CRV. it seems that overall Nissan is more popular but it also seems that CRVs sell pretty quickly when they come up in QL.

any comments on the resale value of these vehicles, and the service. from what the salesman said, the service at honda seems good, but someone told me the parts will be expensive.

Hi,

Also...dont compare Pathfinder and crv ..they re totally different types of vehicles..Pathfinder is a true 4*4 with 3 rows seats while the CRV is a softroader (2 row seats)..dont expect serious offroading and dunebashing in the CRV.its more carlike..so it depends on wot you want..

Hi,

The CRV holds its value quite well and you will have no difficulty selling it..As far as i now Honda service is the best of all the "Japanese" makers here..Toyota is the worst!! They have service centres inside doha and they deliver on time!!!!

P.S...that's why i am on my 3rd Honda vehicle now...and I have never needed to buy any spare parts till now.. but they say that honda parts are expensive because u dont get duplicate parts for it..The original parts are equally expensive for all cars..Duplicates for tthe other makes are freely available and cheap!!!!
